Night vision device VV 2000

The monocular night vision devices [NVD] use the technology of passive image intensifier. Basically the NVD work with light of stars and moon [illumination] and cannot be identified by other NVDs. This system is also equipped by protection against bright lights which can damage system. The NVD is used to as night pointer with universal rail system MIL-STD-1913. The NVD can be used as hand-free with head set or just handheld.

The NVD VV 2000 has been adopted by 601st Special Forces Group since 2000. The NVDs are mainly use as night pointer in combination with M-4 attack rifle and modern version of Sa-58 attack rifle. The NVDs can be also use for observation of objects on short distance.
